Shelter locations
1. Families should stay together and not mingle with other parties in the shelter.
2. If you have gloves and a non-medical mask bring them, mask, gloves, and hand sanitizer will not be available at the shelter.
3. Try to stay in your vehicles till time to enter the shelter.
Register Your Home Storm Shelter!
If you have a home Tornado Shelter or Safe Room, weather it be indoors or outdoors, please register your shelter with us.
If you have installed a individual storm shelter or safe room at your home, church, or business, it is a good idea to register your shelter with EMA. This will not make the shelter publicly visible, but registering will allow first responders to know where the shelter is located so that first responders can check for occupants after a disaster. Shelters may not be readily visible due to debris covering them.
